An industry reading of Wait Wait Don't Kill Me, based on the Webby Award–winning musical podcast featured on Wondery's Secrets, Crimes & Audiotape, will be presented November 10 at 3 PM at Ripley-Grier Studios in New York.
Inspired by the making of NPR's hit Serial, the comedic musical satire has a book by Dave Holstein and music and lyrics by Alan Schmuckler.
The cast will be led by Morgan Weed (American Psycho) as Sarah Koenig, Annie Golden (Violet) as Ira Glass, Greg Hildreth (Frozen) as Charlie, and Nehal Joshi (School of Rock) as Adnan. The four actors will be joined by Alyse Alan Louis, Renee Albulario, Imari Hardon, Anthony Jackson, Bonnie Milligan, and Larry Owens.
The reading will be directed by Kevin Laibson and feature staging by Byron Easley and musical direction by Madeline Smith.
