Love, with all its ups and downs, is the star of the show—despite a slew of celebrities—in the teaser trailer for the anthology series Modern Love.

Debuting October 18 on Amazon Prime, the show features a long roster of Broadway vets, including Brandon Victor Dixon, Tina Fey, John Gallagher Jr., Cristin Milioti, and John Slattery. Also starring are Sofia Boutella, Gary Carr, Olivia Cooke, Andy Garcia, Julia Garner, Anne Hathaway, Catherine Keener, Dev Patel, Andrew Scott, and Shea Whigham.

At the Television Critics Association panel, Hathaway confirmed she will play a woman with bi-polar disorder (based on author Terri Cheney), while Milioti will appear as an unexpectedly pregnant woman with no one by her side except a doorman. Modern Love is based on the popular New York Times column and podcast of the same name.
