Just in time for Thanksgiving Week, Food Network celebrity chef Alton Brown brings his live culinary show, Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science, to Broadway beginning November 22, followed by a spring 2017 tour to California, the Midwest, and other stops in North America.

The host of Good Eats, Iron Chef America, and other cable cooking shows, has been touring the U.S. with his Eat Your Science tour and added Broadway as his New York stop, November 22 and 23 at 8 PM; November 25 and 26 at 2 and 8 PM, and November 27 at 1 PM at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Tickets are on sale via Telecharge, by phone at (800) 447-7400 or at the box office, located at 243 West 47th Street.

Good Eats was unusual for a cooking show because Brown always paused to explain the science behind each of his cooking techniques. The live show apparently returns to that format.

Brown issued a statement saying the show contains “all new everything including songs, new comedy, new puppets and bigger and better potentially dangerous food demonstrations. I can neither confirm nor deny that we've given the Broadway version of ‘Eat Your Science’ a distinctly Thanksgiving flavor, but wouldn't that be cool?"

He teased, “Plus, you’ll see things I’ve never been allowed to do on TV.”

Here is a clip from the 2013 Chicago version of the show:
