Tony-winning director Alex Timbers is the latest director in Broadway history to have four shows running simultaneously.
Timbers' newest production, All Out: Comedy About Ambition by Simon Rich, joins his currently running hits Beetlejuice, Just in Time, and Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
Previous directors to enjoy four simultaneous productions include Joe Mantello (Blackbird, The Humans, Wicked, and An Act of God in 2016), Casey Nicholaw (Aladdin, The Book of Mormon, Something Rotten!, and Tuck Everlasting in 2016), and Susan Stroman (Contact, The Music Man, The Producers, and Thou Shalt Not in 2001). Trevor Nunn has also enjoyed the honor twice, in 1988 with Cats, Les Miserables, Starlight Express, and Chess, and in 1995 with Cats, Les Miz, Sunset Boulevard, and Arcadia.
In celebration of the milestone, Timbers posed for a photo with cast members from all four productions, including Robert Petkoff and Bahiyah Hibah from Moulin Rouge; Julia Grondin, Khori Michelle Petinaud, and Larkin Reilly from Just in Time; Justin Collette and Isabella Esler from Beetlejuice; and Gracie Lawrence and Clyde Lawrence from All Out.
