The Donmar Warehouse’s production of Sweat, starring three-time Tony nominee and Emmy winner Martha Plimpton, is set to open in London December 19 after beginning preview performances December 7. The Pulitzer Prize-winning play from Lynn Nottage about America’s eroding working class is directed by Lynette Linton.
Plimpton, playing Tracey, is joined by Leanne Best (Jessie), Patrick Gibson (Jason), Osy Ikhile (Chris), Wil Johnson (Brucie), Stuart McQuarrie (Stan), Clare Perkins (Cynthia), Sule Rimi (Evan), and Sebastian Viveros (Oscar). With the exception of McQuarrie, this will mark the actors' Donmar Warehouse debuts.
