Samuel French launched its eBook store Nov. 15 via iTunes, and over 80 plays and musical librettos are currently available to download for use on iPhone, iPod and iPad. An expected 200 additional titles are in the pipeline to arrive in digital format by the end of the month. The aim is to offer 1,000 titles for download by the end of the year.
Samuel French is also preparing the scripts for use on the Kindle, Nook and Sony eReader via all online retailers in 2012. Most plays retail for $8.99.
