Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, a new play with music by Eve Wolf, officially opened Off-Broadway December 27. The Donald T. Sanders-helmed production marks the choreographic debut of Tony nominee Robert Fairchild, who also stars.

The limited engagement from Ensemble for the Romantic Century will run through January 7, 2018, at the Pershing Square Signature Center.

Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein parallels the creation of Shelley’s enduring Gothic novel Frankenstein with details of her own life as told through excerpts from the book and Shelley’s personal letters and private diaries.
