It was previously reported that the Tony Awards are headed back to Radio City Music Hall in 2025 (June 8, 2025, to be exact), but now more has been revealed about this season's Tony schedule.

April 27, 2025, has been designated as this season's eligibility cut-off, meaning that productions will have to have opened between April 25, 2024, and April 27, 2025, to be eligible for the 2025 Tony Awards. Currently, the latest opening night is Roundabout Theatre Company's The Pirates of Penzance, set to open April 24, 2025. That leaves three days of opening nights for productions that haven't been announced or haven't revealed opening night dates—expect all of those slots to be filled before too long.

Nominations will be announced live May 1, 2025, at a time and location to be announced. Playbill will cover the announcement live as always.

The Tony Awards will be available live on CBS nationwide June 8, and will stream on Paramount+, live for Showtime-level subscribers, and on-demand for Essential-level subscribers beginning June 9. The CBS broadcast will be live on both coasts, running 8-11 PM ET and 5-8 PM PT (check local listings).
