"I have paired 13 composers with 13 singers they have never worked with," creator and producer Bill Coyne said in an earlier statement. "On a 'musical theatre blind date' the pairs share their personal and artistic strengths and weaknesses, passions, fears; the composers write a song specifically for and inspired by the singer, with the intention of reaching new artistic territory. So far, MuseMatch has created 45 new collaborations, and raised thousands of dollars for The Trevor Project, The Boys Club of NY and Zara Aina."

The fourth installment of MuseMatch benefits Manitou Experience Camps, which provides boys and girls who have lost a parent, sibling or loved one with a program that helps "build confidence, encourage laughter and navigate their grief through friendship, teamwork, athletics, and the common bond of loss."

Coyne and Stephanie Cowan produce. Ashley Rodbro serves as director with Joshua Zecher-Ross as the musical director.
