Initial casting has been announced for the Hollywood Bowl’s previously reported summer production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into the Woods, to be presented July 26–28. Tickets go on sale May 5.
Pippin Tony winner Patina Miller, who stars as Daisy Grant on CBS’ Madam Secretary, will play the Witch, with Gaten Matarazzo (Netflix's Stranger Things) as Jack and Shanice Williams (NBC’s The Wiz Live!) as Little Red Riding Hood.

EGOT winner Whoopi Goldberg will lend her talent to the production as the voice of the Giant. Additional casting will be announced later.
Tony nominee Robert Longbottom (Flower Drum Song, Side Show) will direct and choreograph the limited engagement with musical direction by conductor Kevin Stites.
