Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, who recently wrapped her Broadway run in Steve Martin’s Meteor Shower, will head to Chicago March 18 to perform two benefit concerts for Chicago Theatre Workshop.
The 5 PM and 8 PM concerts take place on the main stage of the Victory Gardens Theater as part of Chicago Theatre Workshop’s Spring benefit. Now in its second season, CTW acts as an incubator for new music-driven theatre works.

A Tony Award winner for Gypsy in 2008, Benanti earned her fifth Tony nomination for the 2016 Broadway revival of She Loves Me. Her stage appearances also include Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Nine, The Wedding Singer, In the Next Room or the Vibrator Play, and Into the Woods. On screen, Benanti is known for her roles on Nashville, Supergirl, The Good Wife, and NBC’s The Sound of Music Live!
