Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, the first major musical collaboration between Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, will be reimagined for a new production at the London Palladium this summer.
Previews will begin June 26, 2019, prior to an official opening July 11 for an 11-week summer season through September 8. Tickets will go on sale December 7. Casting and the creative team will be announced at a later date. Michael Harrison and The Really Useful Group produce.
Originally released as a concept album in 1969, the stage version features such songs as “Any Dream Will Do,” “Close Every Door to Me,” “Jacob and Sons,” “There’s One More Angel In Heaven,” and “Go Go Go Joseph.”

Among those who have taken on the title role include Bill Hutton (Hutton and the late Laurie Beechman, who played the Narrator, were both Tony-nominated for their work in the original 1982 Broadway production), Michael Damian, Jason Donovan, Phillip Schofield, Lee Mead, Joe McElderry, and Donny Osmond.
