Tony Award winners Idina Menzel (currently Off-Broadway in Skintight) and Judith Light will receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of the 2019 class of inductees.
According to Variety, additional artists set to receive the honor next year include Tony nominee and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, Tony nominee Paul Sorvino, Dolly Parton (also Tony-nominated for her score to the musical adaption of 9 to 5), Oscar winners Anne Hathaway and Dianne Wiest, and Menzel’s Frozen co-star Kristen Bell.
Recent theatre names to receive Walk of Fame stars include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mandy Patinkin, and Kinky Boots creators Harvey Fierstein and Cyndi Lauper.
Dates for the stars’ induction ceremonies in Los Angeles will be announced later.
