Tony Award nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime) will star as Diana in a one-night-only New York City benefit presentation of the Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal February 1, 2018. Noll earned acclaim for playing Diana earlier this year in Hartford TheaterWorks’ production of Next to Normal.

Noll will be joined by Darius de Haas (Shuffle Along) as Dan in a cast that will also feature George Salazar (The Lightning Thief) as Henry and two-time Tony Award nominee Brandon Uranowitz (Falsettos) as The Doctors.

Complete casting will be announced shortly. Daniella Caggiano will direct the 7 PM concert that will be held at the JCC Manhattan (334 Amsterdam Avenue). Janet Noh will music direct.

The concert is presented by Quintessence of Dust Theatre Company/Rachel Kunstadt as a benefit for the JED Foundation, a nonprofit that exists to protect emotional health and prevent suicide for teens and young adults.

Tom Kitt (music) and Brian Yorkey (book/lyrics) penned the rock musical about a mother battling depression and bi-polar disorder, which also delves into prescription drug abuse, suicide, grief, and the breakdown of an American family.

General admission tickets, priced $80, are now on sale. VIP tickets (with assigned prime seating and a post-show reception) are available for $150. All proceeds benefit The JED Foundation. Click here to purchase.
