Tony Award-winning Broadway veteran Ben Vereen will return to the Cutting Room December 1 at 7:30 PM for a one-night-only encore performance of Steppin' Out With Ben Vereen.
The celebrated entertainer headlined a special Thanksgiving concert at The Cutting Room last week. He is also set to appear in concert at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut, December 2.
The song-and-dance star takes audiences through his life and career, from his Brooklyn beginnings and his Tony-winning turn as Pippin’s Leading Player, through his screen performances in All That Jazz, Sweet Charity, and Funny Lady, to his Broadway return as The Wizard in Wicked.
Vereen performs new interpretations of such songs as “Defying Gravity,” “Mr. Bojangles,” “Magic To Do,” and “Life Is Just A Bowl of Cherries” in the act that has played to acclaim across the country. He currently has a recurring role on Star on Fox.
