Walnut Street Theatre is the oldest theatre in America, in continuous operation since 1809. Every noteworthy American actor of the 19th century and many from the 20th century (not to mention famous actors from other countries) appeared on stage at Walnut Street Theatre just as it stands today.
MAINSTAGE -- SEATING INFO
Orchestra: Is the first level of this two-level theatre. No seat is further than 45 feet from the stage.
Lower and Upper Mezzanine: Seats are no more than 40 feet or 60 feet from the stage.
INDEPENDENCE STUDIO ON 3 -- SEATING INFO
This flexible and extremely intimate space holds 80 people.
All tickets are general admission with seating on a first-come basis.
