DESCRIPTION

Palace Youth Theatre in Manchester, NH is seeking a passionate and versatile Resident Artist to join our team for the Winter/Spring 2026 season.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic theatre professional to work hands-on with youth productions, educational programming, and day-to-day operations in a vibrant, creative environment.
The Resident Artist will support a range of theatre activities, including:
Assisting with youth productions (grades 2–12) as a Director, Music Director, or Choreographer (based on experience and interest)

Teaching and supporting classes as needed
Helping with administrative and production duties, such as rehearsals, tech, costuming, and office work
This position offers the opportunity to focus on a specialty area while also gaining experience across disciplines.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-Experience working in theatre professionally
-A passion for youth theatre and the ability to connect with students in grades 2–12
-Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
-A positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude

This is a paid contract, and housing is provided for the duration of the residency. Contract starts in January and can run until June with options to extend involvment into the summer.
