POSITION SUMMARY:

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) seeks Wardrobe technicians for its 2026 Season. Candidates must have experience with dressing, quick-changes, and laundry. Minor alteration and wig-styling skills a plus. Ideal candidate has a degree in technical theatre, or equivalent combination of education and experience, good communication skills, and a positive attitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Position is sometimes required to stand, sit, or kneel for extended periods during regular work.

· Must be able to lift and move 25 pounds and climb stairs and ladders.

COMPENSATION:

Hourly Part-time and Overhire Positions: Compensation for this position is $16-19.50/hour. This position is eligible for overtime after 40 hours/week. This position does not come with housing, travel reimbursement, or benefits.
