DESCRIPTION

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Backstage Deck Crew for our upcoming holiday production of A Christmas Carol! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in live theater and contribute to the magic that happens behind the scenes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with set changes, props, and general backstage tasks during rehearsals and performances
  • Assist with the load-in and load-out process
  • Maintain a safe and organized backstage environment
  • Provide general backstage support for the cast and crew

Schedule:

  • Tech Week Rehearsals: Weekday evenings 11/25, 11/26, 11/27; opening night 11/29
  • Performances:
    • Thursdays and Fridays (7:30pm)
    • Saturdays (2pm and 7:30pm)
    • Sundays (2pm)
  • Additional School Shows: 11:00 AM on select Thursdays and Fridays

Compensation:

  • $600 per week
  • Housing provided if needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in theater production is a plus, but not required
  • A strong interest in live performance and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Dependability and flexibility with hours
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for making theater magic happen!
