DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities / Overview:

• Review all technical materials prior to the first performance.

• Analyze cue sheets to familiarize yourself with cues.

• Lead the tech process on-site during launch day and future performances to ensure lighting, sound, and projections are set and ready to go

• Call the lighting cues, and ensure that audio track is in sync

• Troubleshoot last-minute technical issues to maintain a smooth production.

• Coordinate with the front of house team and producers to ensure shows run on schedule

• Communicate with the producers if any issues arise; complete the Performance Report following each performance

• Communicate with dancers and wardrobe supervisor to make sure everyone is on track and has what they need

• Ensure the run of the show is properly implemented and adhered to.

Qualifications:

• Experience calling a show

• Lighting experience is a plus

• Ability to import and edit files, and run cues.

• Previous Stage Management or similar technical theatre experience

• Ability to lead technicians in set up and lead technical rehearsals, ensuring all technical needs are met within prior to doors open

Compensation

• $30 / hour

Performances:

2 Performances on 3/28 - 4pm & 6:30pm

• Bayou Theater - 2700 Bay Area blvd, Houston 77058
