HOURS / PAY / BENEFITS

You must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays and 6-day work weeks, as needed.

Local 751 Health / Welfare benefits

Base pay: Union scale (currently $400.09 per day worked)

POSITION OVERVIEW

ATG Entertainment is seeking an enthusiastic Head Box Office Treasurer to lead our Box Office Team at the Walter Kerr Theatre, currently home to the long-running musical, HADESTOWN.

This role is a key member of our Front-of-House Team. The Head Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Box Office. We are seeking candidates who are collaborative, personable, and who take the initiative to find solutions.

The ideal candidate will be joining a high-energy, detail-focused Team that plays a vital role in keeping our venues and hit shows running smoothly. The Head Treasurer will work inside a collaborative, respectful, and driven Company that is focused on providing the best experience for both our Guests and our Show Partners on Broadway.

Key Head Treasurer responsibilities include supervising Box Office Staff, managing ticket inventory and sales, handling revenue and transactions, preparing and sending daily and weekly reports and reconciliations, selling food and beverage packages, helping Theatre Management to resolve customer issues, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The Head Treasurer will work closely with our Show Partners and Operations and Revenue Management Teams to program and price the Shows accordingly. The Head Treasurer may also assist our Guests who purchase and pick up tickets in person at the Box Office.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Excellent organizational and management skills

Exceptional people skills

Ability to effectively work with Guests and Team Members, some of whom will require elevated levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy

Must be able to collaborate well with a Team and provide exceptional customer service skills by treating all Guests and Co-Workers with respect

Experience in Box Office sales using enterprise ticket sales systems, such as Audience View, SeatGeek, Ticketmaster, etc. required.

Must be a member of Local 751, in good standing

Experience with managing cash

A Bachelor's degree in a Management-related field is preferred, though not required
