DESCRIPTION
Playgarden Prep is seeking an early childhood enrichment teacher to teach a variety of classes for infants, toddler, and preschool-aged children. While previous experience is recommended, candidates without experience who are interested in pursuing a career in early childhood education are encouraged to apply.Classes taught include Creative Dance, Music, Movement/Sports, Early Learning, S.T.E.A.M., and Preschool Readiness. Candidates with multilingual proficiency are especially encouraged to apply!
Classes take place Mondays thru Fridays at our Tribeca and Upper West Side locations. In addition to teaching classes, teachers are responsible for setting up and cleaning up before/after class. Curriculum is provided, and teachers will be trained by the Enrichment Manager or other training/supervisory staff members. Anticipated schedule will be:
TRIBECA:
Mondays 2:30PM to 6PM
Tuesdays 2:30PM to 6PM
Thursdays 2:30PM to 6PM
UWS:
Mondays 8AM to 5PM
Wednesdays 8AM to 1PM
Thursdays 9AM to 1PM
This is a part-time position. Pay range starts at $18 per hour, with opportunity for increases based on experience.
