Vanguard Theater is seeking a Day Camp Manager for their VTC Kids Day Camp Program.

VTC Kids Daycamp

VTC Kids Day Camp is where young actors ages 8-13 learn to believe in their ideas, express themselves with courage, and support one another. Through basic musical theater techniques, campers bring characters, stories, and emotions to life – boosting focus, imagination, and teamwork. Our camp is grounded in DREAM values: Diversity, Reciprocity, Education, Activism, and Mentorship, helping campers develop trust, cooperation, and collaboration – skills that shine onstage and off.

Role and Responsibilities

The Day Camp Manager leads the overall operation of the camp, overseeing both staff and campers while ensuring the program runs smoothly each day. They are responsible for creating and managing the camp schedule, supervising staff, and making sure all responsibilities are clearly assigned and carried out. The Manager serves as the central point of communication—supporting staff, keeping families informed, and addressing any issues that arise.

A key part of the role is maintaining a safe, structured, and positive environment for all campers, while keeping rehearsals and activities on track. The Day Camp Manager also stays closely connected with the production team to ensure the camp and performances are aligned.This role requires strong leadership, organization, and a consistent, hands-on presence throughout the full camp season.

Camp Dates

Rehearsals: Monday-Friday, July 6th- July 28th, 2026

Times: 8am- 4pm

Performances: July 29th - July 30th, 2026

Stipend: $3,000
