DESCRIPTION

Sunrise Theatre Company is seeking actors 18+ with daytime availability to join our educational theatre roster. We accept rolling submissions for general consideration, but are especially looking to fill the following roles in our Spring 2026 season:

Seussical TYA - runs from late Feb through mid April

Cat in the Hat (baritone preferred, but open to any)

Wickersham Brother (tenor/baritone)

Bird Girl/Wickersham hybrid (soprano/mezzo)

Flat Stanley TYA - runs throughout March

Bulletin Board + others (soprano/mezzo)

Junie B. Jones - runs from late April through mid May

Sheldon + others (baritone preferred, but open to any)

All are paid opportunities with stipend based on total number of performances. There is a brief rehearsal process 2-3 weeks before opening at our studios in Lynbrook, NY. Exact performance dates and times to be distributed. We perform primarily at venues throughout Long Island and the five boroughs. Occasional out of state shows, for which all travel/lodging is provided. Travel reimbursement offered for NYC commuters. To be considered, please submit a resume and reel/video sample.
