DESCRIPTION

Producers are seeking a Scenic Fabricator / Scenic Artist for a large-scale immersive Pride event inspired by Alice in Wonderland.

This is a high-design, adult, queer-forward event taking place on a private estate featuring multiple environments including stages, immersive installations, pool areas, and themed rooms.

Design concepts for the environments already exist. We are seeking someone who can help execute these ideas through hands-on building, fabrication, scenic painting, and environmental detailing.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving creative problems and physically bringing designs to life.

RESPONSIBILITES

Fabricate scenic elements from provided concepts. Build scenic structures and decorative elements.Scenic painting, texturing, and faux finishing. Distressing, aging, and stylizing materials. Assist with installation and environmental dressing. Work collaboratively with producers and creative team. Ensure builds are safe, stable, and functional for guests

IDEAL SKILLS

Carpentry / scenic construction / Scenic painting / Faux finishes and texture work / Experience building theatrical scenery or immersive installations / Creative problem solving / Ability to work quickly and independently when needed

Bonus experience with: Foam carving, Lightweight scenic builds, Immersive or festival environments, Installation art
