SEEKING:

MARY-GRACE - AFAB/female-presenting, 17 but has the maturity of a 14 year old. Even though she grew up inside the collapse, MARY-GRACE is curious and trusting. Play still flickers inside her. She wants to believe people can be good and that community is possible even when the world continues to disprove it. Over the course of the play, she grows into someone who can name what she needs and advocate for it. HELENA is her only living relative.

HELENA - AFAB/female-presenting, 24. Helena is steel wrapped around a bruise. Hyper-competent, vigilant but running on fumes. She’s been forced into parenthood too young and carries trauma that shows up as control. She will protect her younger sister, MARY-GRACE, at all costs. Distrusting and dry but deep down she yearns for tenderness.

VERA - Non-binary/GNC/androgynous-presenting, 25. Vera is a capable survivor with a healer’s attention. They are someone whose strength is tenderness, and whose tenderness is a choice in this hardened world. A natural leader. They are a loner tired of being alone and looking for community.
