DESCRIPTION
The Props Artisan will assist with research, acquisition, and construction of props, furniture, and set dressings. 2-3 years combined prop shop in theater/performing arts/entertainment industry education and/or experience. CTC’s summer season will consist of fully produced productions, as well as several new play workshops/readings. Seasonal employment (summer).This position may offer employer-provided housing and parking, depending upon the candidate's situation. Housing includes a private bedroom and shared living space. Residency starts in early June and ends on mid-to-late August.
About Your Work Day
- Assist with research, acquisition, and construction of props, furniture, and set dressings.
- Operate hand and power tools following safety protocols.
- Soft goods construction, carpentry, and general prop fabrication.
- Other duties as assigned.
