Prather Productions – Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre and Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre will be holding auditions for Female and Male identifying singers, actors, and dancers by appointment only on January 19 & 20, 2026, with callbacks to be scheduled through Friday, January 23, 2026. All auditions and callbacks will be at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Ave, 4th Floor. All ethnicities are encouraged to attend. Link for audition slots will go live on Monday, January 12, at 10 AM Eastern. Oklahoma - Reh Start March 12, 2026, Contract Runs Through May 10, 2026
Seeking:
Curly - A young cowman; mischievous, bordering on arrogant; handsome. Pining for Laurey, but can’t communicate it.
Laurey -A farm woman; lovely, tomboyish, and innocent. Lives on her farm with her aunt. Pining for Curly, but can’t let herself show it.
Judd - A farmhand described as growly, if hardworking. He’s interested in Laurey, but there’s something almost sinister about him.
Ado Annie - A young woman, and a farmer’s daughter. Flirtatious, fun-loving, and absent-minded.
Will Parker -A young cowman. Happy-go-lucky, and folks can’t help but like him. Acts first, asks questions later. Talented and flirtatious. In love with Ado Annie.
Ali Hakem - A traveling salesman who claims to be from Persia—these territory folk don’t know any different—not looking to put down roots.
Both Male and Female Ensemble – Strong Singers & Dancers, many of whom will cover leading roles.
Mary Poppins – Reh Start June 12, 2026, Contract Runs Through August 8, 2026
Seeking:
Mary Poppins - Practically perfect in every way, Mary Poppins is the lovable, firm, and unflappable nanny who mysteriously appears to help the Banks family learn to befriend one another. Extraordinary and strange, kind but vain, Mary Poppins is a set of walking contradictions.
George Banks -Patriarch who has rather lost his way in pursuit of societal norms and conventional success. George’s traumatic childhood informs his icy connection to his current children, but he learns to confide in his family.
Winifred Banks -
Unprepared for motherhood, Winifred struggles with feeling like an imposter. She is torn between her past as an actress, her goals of a model family, and the demands of her unsympathetic husband. Eventually, she learns how to support her family and also be their leader.
Bert- The narrator and gentle chimneysweep, artist, and musician who frequents Cherry Tree Lane. He possesses the wisdom of a much older man but the imagination of a much younger one. Bert is an energetic and dazzling showman with a perpetual wink and grin. Strong Dance and Tap skills required.

All Shook Up – 2 Theatre Contract – Starts at Broadway Palm and transfers to Dutch Apple Reh Start March 26, 2026, Contract Runs Through June 20, 2026
Seeking:
Chad - A great-lookin’, motorcyclin’, guitar-playin’, leather-jacketed roustabout. Rock and roll vocals with a definite nod to Elvis. Any ethnicity.
Jim Haller - Natalie's widowed father. Middle-aged and messy, he still longs for his wife. Caucasian.
Sylvia - The no-nonsense African-American owner of Sylvia's Honky-Tonk. Soulful alto belt.
Miss Sandra - The beautiful, intellectual caretaker of the town's museum. Rock and Roll belt. Sophisticated with an inner wild child.
Lorraine - Sylvia’s teenage daughter. Pretty, smart and a total romantic. Soprano pop belt. POC.
Dean Hyde - Matilda's teenage son. He had spent his youth at military boarding schools, and he has never disobeyed his mother. Tenor. Caucasian.

The Sounds of 1967 – Reh May 7. 2026 Contract Runs Through June 21, 2026
Seeking:
Carrie Ann - (18 - 25) a dreamer from Ohio who wants to join the Rock and Roll tribunal. Searching for her sound in a sea of the best music from 1967. Folky Joni Mitchell sound. Helpful if she plays piano or guitar.
Mom - (mid 30's - late 40's) a housewife with the best pot roast recipe in town. Desperate to rescue her daughter from a life of guitar playing and bare footed hippies. Sings "Hey Carrie Ann"- should be able to oscillate from a square musical theatre sound to a rock/pop belt
Pop - (Mid 30's - late 40's) a practical man who learns how to boogie down Broadway as he follows his daughter to various locales in the summer of 1967 - comedy chops needed! Sings "Boogaloo down Broadway"
Guy - (mid 20's - early 30's) A Los Angelos transplant who becomes the guitar player in Carrie Ann's band - sings "Light Your Fire", "So You Want To Be A Rock and Roll Singer"
Lesley - (mid 20's - early 30's) A British drummer who gives Carrie Ann a make over and joins the band as their fashion stylist and rhythm section sings "She's A Rainbow" "Daydream in' Believer"
Earl (African American) - (mid-20's - early 30's) A Motown keyboardist who brings heart and soul to the band sings Motown Hits "I Heard it through the grapevine" "I was made to love her" "Sweet Soul Music"
Alice - (mid-20's - early 30's) A San Francisco rock and roll singer - bassist? The missing piece to completing 'The Sounds of '67" Sings "Go Ask Alice" "Somebody to Love"

The Wizard of Oz - Reh June 11 2026 Contract Runs Through August 8, 2026
Seeking:
Dorothy Gale - Young Kansas girl, earnest, expressive, and strong-willed, in search of something more. Very strong singer who moves well.
Hunk/Scarecrow - Plucky and clever in a pinch, even while lacking a brain. Strong actor with an honest quality. Excellent dancer – acrobatic skills a bonus
Hickory/Tin Man - Desperate for a heart. A kind-hearted romantic. Singing and dance required
Zeke/Cowardly Lion - A mix of bravado and cowardice. Should move well. Cuddly actor with excellent comic timing
Almira Gultch/Wicked Witch - Character villain with an over-the-top stage presence. Excellent comic actress, has a killer cackle
Professor Marvel/Wizard - Older father figure with an eccentric flair.
Aunt Em/Glinda - Aunt Em is demanding, but loves her niece. Glinda is the Good Witch of the North. Benevolent and beloved.
Uncle Henry/Emerald City Guard - Dorothy’s pleasant uncle, strong character actor.
Male and Female Ensemble - Strong Singers & Dancers, many of whom will cover leading roles, and play Munchkins, Winkies, and Flying Monkeys as needed.
Contracts include housing, meals on performance days, round trip transportation, gym membership in FL, direct deposit, comp tickets and a weekly professional salary. All contracts are NON- AEA.
Bring 2 headshots and resumes stapled together. Be prepared to slate your name and what you are singing (16 bars). Refer to breakdown for roles/shows that are being cast. You may be asked to return for callbacks later that week.
Please do not arrive more than 30 mins prior to your appointment time so as to reduce overcrowding of the holding room.
