PREPARATION

For BEEHIVE, please prepare a short a short song in the style of 60s music. Singing from the show is acceptable and encouraged. An accompanist will be provided. For LUCHADORA!, please prepare a 60-90 second monologue. If auditioning for all productions, your materials should not exceed 2 minutes total.

PCPA 2026 Summer Season

PCPA has a year-round resident company and a two-year Conservatory; many roles are already cast.

PCPA is also producing FROZEN and COME FROM AWAY during our 2026 season; however, those shows have been fully cast with our resident company and Conservatory students.

Liesl/Hannah (she/her): Leo's 10-year-old sister, and older sister who goes to the military.

Leo/Boy 2/Green Luchador (he/him): Leo is a 14-16 years-old friend of Lupita. Doubles as a newspaper boy and green luchador.

WANDA (she/her) – Serves as the narrator throughout the review. She interacts with the audience
throughout the production. Sings and dances.

JASMINE (she/her) – Portrays Diana Ross of the Supremes as well as the lead singer of the Chiffons, Judy Craig. Sings songs “One Fine Day,” “Where Did Our Love Go?” “Come See About Me,” and others.

LAURA (she/her) – Portrays Janis Joplin; Lulu and others. Sings songs “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow,” “To Sir With Love,” “Piece of My Heart,” “Try,” “Me and Bobby McGee,” and others.

PATTIE (she/her) – Sings the songs “It’s My Party,” “You Don’t Know Me,” “Wishin’ and Hopin’,” and others.

GINA (she/her) – Portrays Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin and the lead singer of the Starlets. Sings songs “I Sold My Heart to a Junkman,” “A Fool in Love,” “Proud Mary,” “Respect” and others.
