Daryl Roth Theatre, a commercial Off-Broadway Theatre complex in Union Square, seeks applicants for a position as Part-Time Facilities Assistant for evenings and weekends, up to 20 hours a week. The Daryl Roth Theatre is currently home to Titanique in our main space, and Guide for the Homesick in the DR2 Theatre.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to rental entities and their production staff.
- Ensure theatrical systems and theatre spaces are maintained and are show ready.
- Obtaining FDNY certifications.
- Ensuring building systems are maintained, maintain clean and safe environment.
- Daily trash collection for the theatre, lobbies, and dressing rooms.
- Light cleaning of the theatres and public spaces.
Skills required
- An eye for details and ability to problem solve.
- Excellent communication skills, professional manner.
- Previous venue and production technical experience is preferred.
