DESCRIPTION

Seeking Cosplayer singers, actors, comedians, burlesque, drag performers etc. for a pop-culture themed cabaret to be performed LIVE at The Rat NYC, March 19th, 2026.

Production states: "Artists in cosplay/costume perform and parody their favorite comics, movies, musicals, TV series, and Broadway shows all while helping to raise funds for charity via GeekLifeCares. Producers strongly encourage all persons regardless of age, race, gender identity, etc. to submit as we strive to represent the full spectrum of the Geek Community."

For consideration, please submit headshot and resume with a cover letter via the attached Google Form. Vocal demo tracks and/or video links should be Youtube or Vimeo. Also, include any geeky performance and/or cosplay photos or ideas that you think you might like to perform. Especially seeking fun, upbeat ideas. Don't be afraid to think outside the box. Both conventional and parody performances are very welcome.


Performers will recieve professiional HD video and photos of the performance and split of any gratuities the cast receive during the performance. Proceeds from the show will be donated to charity via GeekLifeCares.

ABOUT GeekLifeRules: NY Cosplay Cabaret: Enterting their 9th season of shows, The NYCOSCAB began in residency at 53 Above Broadway Comedy Club and Don't Tell Mama NYC. They continued in a virtual format during the pandemic performing dozens of shows and welcoming a whole new circle of friends and fans, including both performers and audience members from all over the U.S. and half dozen different countrie while also expanding to inclusion in several conventions including, Trek Long Island, Keystone Comic Con and New York Comic Con. All this while continuing their mission to help raise awareness and funds for various charities and those in need via GeekLifeCares!
