Finance Friend is a financial consulting firm that seeks to empower our clients in their own financial management. We demystify finances and help our clients use good data to make sound financial decisions that they feel good about. To date we have worked with over 200 companies to create and implement financial systems and processes that streamline recordkeeping and make their team’s jobs easier.
We are looking for a Nonprofit Finance Manager (Theatre Division) who can bring their knowledge of the theatre industry, nonprofit GAAP, and their Quickbooks savvy to our thriving team. This role will provide crucial controller function a portfolio of 6-10 nonprofit theatre clients with budgets ranging from $750k-$3M. Additionally, this role supervises the associate level member of the nonprofit theatre team. This position reports to Finance Friend’s Nonprofit Finance Director.

· You have familiarity with ticketing, accounts payable, and payroll softwares (examples include Spektrix, Gusto, Melio, and Bill.com)
· You are familiar with union payrolls associated with Off-Broadway.
· You are curious and a lifelong learner.
· You are highly organized.
· You have 3+ years of experience working in nonprofit theatre finance and/or general management.
· You are skilled with prioritization and are able to manage multiple projects.
