BREAKDOWN
MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS
SYNOPSIS: Just after midnight, a snowstorm stops the Orient Express in it’s tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of year, but by morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, but the door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer in case he or she decides to strike again.
SEEKING:
COLONEL ARBUTHNOT – Scotsman, mid 30s, very matter of fact. Doubles as SAMUEL RATCHETT - Middle-aged American businessman, brusque, unforgiving. With a threatening demeanor and whiplash of a voice.
MARY DEBENHAM – an English beauty, late 20s
HELEN HUBBARD – an outspoken American 50s, well dressed with a touch of flamboyance
HECTOR MCQUEEN – a nervous young American, 30s, a strained, rather beleaguered face
MONSIEUR BOUC – Belgian, middle-aged man of good humor
MICHEL THE CONDUCTOR – Frenchman, 40s, quiet, almost grave sense of humor. Doubles as HEAD WAITER
GRETA OHLSSON – Swedish, 30s and plain, a frightened, sheep-like quality about her
COUNTESS ANDRENYI – 20s, brilliantly beautiful and dressed to the nines in furs and diamonds, a warm smile that wins you over immediately.
