About the Role:
All Angles Tutoring, Inc. is seeking a Math Tutor to work primarily with students in 9th-12th grade (Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus). You will be handling communication with the clients that are assigned to you, including intake meetings with clients, scheduling weekly tutoring sessions, meeting with students regularly on Zoom, and providing timely session notes. We are looking for an individual who is organized, punctual, personable, and self-motivated.
Job Responsibilities:
• Schedule sessions with clients provided by All Angles Tutoring.
• During each session, help students on homework, test preparation and supplemental activities.
• Assign homework to be done out-of-session as needed.
• After each session, the tutor is responsible for sending session notes to the client and All Angles Tutoring within 24 hours detailing session activities and any other pertinent information.
• Tutor maintains day-to-day communications with client, including any changes in schedule or availability.
Job Requirements:
• At least 1-2 years of tutoring experience.
• Must have experience remote tutoring/teaching online and familiarity with Zoom.
• Experience and confidence tutoring Geometry and Algebra II.
• Priority will be given to tutors who have at least 1 year experience maintaining long relationships with private tutoring clients (ie. experience owning client communications, scheduling, follow-ups, etc.).
• Tutors must have excellent emotional and social intelligence.
• A functioning computer, webcam, and reliable internet connection.
