This short-term, project-based role is ideal for a creative, organized individual with skills in WordPress, content creation, and digital asset management. The primary focus of this position is the redevelopment of Theatre Aspen’s website, along with organizing media archives and supporting select marketing content needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Website Development & WordPress Management
Assist in rebuilding Theatre Aspen’s website in WordPress, including page creation and content migration.
Implement Figma design specs with SEO- and accessibility-minded formatting.
Conduct basic maintenance: updating plugins, fixing links, optimizing images, and organizing the media library.
Content Development & Archival Organization
Organize photo and video assets within SharePoint and Lightroom using consistent naming and filing systems.
Consolidate archived materials into a structured, easy-to-navigate digital library.
Update the Program History & Assets document with key milestones, achievements, and available media.
Content Creation, Photography, and Social Media
Edit short social and website videos, crop/adjust photos, and create simple graphics as needed.
Provide occasional photography or behind-the-scenes capture during winter/spring events.
Administrative & Team Collaboration
Work directly with the Director of Marketing on weekly project priorities and web development milestones.
Participate in check-ins and assist with other digital tasks that support project completion.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in theatre, media, design, marketing, communications, film, or a related field.
Experience with WordPress (page builders, media management, basic troubleshooting).
Skills in Adobe Creative Suite or comparable editing/design tools.
Strong organizational habits and attention to detail.
Familiarity with SharePoint, Lightroom, or similar digital asset systems.
Strong visual and written storytelling instincts.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Passion for the performing arts is a plus.

Hours: Part-time depending on applicant availability and project pacing, approx. 5-8/hours week.
Compensation: $20–$25/hour, commensurate with experience.
Location: Remote. Offices located in Aspen, CO.
