Internship Overview:
This internship offers a comprehensive experience on running a nonprofit performing arts organization. You’ll engage in diverse responsibilities, including project coordination, marketing, outreach, and fundraising support while providing accessible opportunities for emerging creatives in NYC.
This internship is a hybrid position, with most work occurring remotely with expected in-person attendance during Amoeba Productions events and select meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer direct assistance to Amoeba Productions during the duration of the internship
- Meet weekly with the Intern Supervisor to discuss action items and provide updates on tasks
- Monitor project progress and provide update reports to the Managing Director
- Provide support for Amoeba’s Spring 2026 productions, fundraising events, social gatherings, and other programs with Amoeba’s Board of Directors
- Assistant with miscellaneous marketing and administrative tasks
Recommended skills, competencies, and qualifications:
- Current student or recent graduate with a strong interest in performing arts, theatre, and supporting emerging artists
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Effective team collaborator
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in the Google Workspace Applications (Google Documents, Google Sheets, Google Forms)
- Familiarity with Canva
