Join our team as a Marketing Assistant

Are you passionate about marketing and eager to join a dynamic team? At Music Theatre International, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to help drive our marketing efforts and make an impact. As a key member of our Marketing team, you'll have the chance to learn, grow, and contribute to exciting projects across various channels.

What You'll Be Doing:

Administrative Support:

• Assist the Director of Marketing to keep operations running smoothly, from scheduling meetings to responding to author and customer inquiries.
• Coordinate shipments from our library, ensuring partners and customers receive their orders in a timely and organized manner.
• Manage and update our Content Calendar, keeping everything on track.
• Work closely with other departments to bring marketing projects to life and ensure cross-team collaboration.
• Assist in crafting communications with our partners, ensuring timely and effective follow-up.

Community Management:

• Monitor, engage, and respond to comments and messages, building strong connections with our community.
• Actively engage with customers on our website, answering their questions and providing top-notch service.
• Oversee the Marketing team inbox, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and requests.

Website Content Management:

• Collaborate with our Content Manager to troubleshoot and resolve web-related issues.
• Keep our website fresh and up-to-date by updating content and information through our content management system.

Email Marketing:

• Support our Content Manager in managing email campaigns by importing contacts and scheduling eblasts to engage our audience.

Content Creation & Social Media:

• Assist in the creation of engaging content for our blog, social media, and other marketing materials.
• Help with media and user-generated content outreach to enhance our online presence.
• Participate in exciting special projects and campaigns as they arise.

Who We’re Looking For: We need someone with strong organizational and writing skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to adapt quickly. You’re a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being a team player. Previous experience with content management systems, customer relationship management systems, and email marketing programs is a plus.

Salary Range:

$48,000 – $50,000/ year
