DESCRIPTION
The Pekoe Group is an award-winning, fast paced, full-service advertising agency in NYC, working with the city's top Broadway shows, Off-Broadway shows, and restaurants.
We are seeking a full-time Account Manager to join our team.
The Account Manager is the primary client point of contact on behalf of the agency, fostering excellent client relationships across multiple accounts, anticipating client needs, and ensuring the agency delivers.
The Account Manager will work with the agency’s strategy and creative teams to prepare for client meetings and presentations, will handle client communications, and will be the liaison between the client and agency team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Campaign management between the strategy and creative departments within the agency
- Developing and maintaining media plans for clients based on strategic direction from Vice President of Marketing Strategy
- Requesting and evaluating advertising proposals from media vendors
- Negotiating and managing bookings for media buys
- Leading client meetings
- Ensuring agency department follow-through on client meeting action items
- Sending ads and media opportunities to client for approval
- Overseeing agency output to ensure quality control and client budget management
- Communicating client feedback and directives to the agency departments
- Daily oversight and management of Client Services team
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- At least 1 year of experience as an Account Manager or in a Client Services or Media Planning role in a theatrical agency
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, including basic formulas), and Google Drive
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be able to manage time to meet strict deadlines
- A commitment to providing the highest level of hospitality to our clients

COMPENSATION: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
