BREAKDOWN

INTO THE WOODS

SEEKING:

Baker (30s-40s) A warm-hearted, anxious, good man who deeply wants to be a parent. Earnest, flawed, and well-meaning. Has strong comedic timing and emotional depth. Baritone (A2-G4)

Mezzo-Soprano with high belt (F3-G5…can extend up to C6)

Cinderella (20s-30s) A kind, earnest, conflicted, and strong-willed woman with a warm gentleness who is consistently mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. Lyrical soprano, excellent storytelling through song, comedic. Soprano (G3-G5)

Must play exaggerated confidence and humor with ease. Wolf: Playfully predatory, seductive and humorous. Must embody the ‘tempting unknown.’ Baritone (B2-F4)

Rapunzel’s Prince (20s-40s) A handsome, goofy, earnest, and competitive young man. Loves to spar and challenge his brother. With strong comedic sensibility. Bariton (C#3-F4) Rapunzel (20s-30s) An innocent, sheltered, and emotional woman, prone to fits of hysteria as the show progresses. Legit Soprano (B3-A5)
