SpectraLive x, in association with Six Flags Entertainment, is holding in-person auditions on March 22nd and 23rd, 2026 for exceptional Los Angeles-based performers to join the cast of DC Heroes & Villains Fest — a dynamic, immersive summer entertainment experience.
This high-profile seasonal festival brings the world of DC to life through cinematic live performance, interactive storytelling, and guest engagement experiences designed for audiences of all ages. We are seeking versatile, physically expressive performers to portray legendary DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, as well as original festival characters created exclusively for this production.
Engagement begins at Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, CA) and continues following a brief layoff at Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ).

CASTING BREAKDOWN
Dancers
Technically strong, high-energy dancers with bold performance presence and the ability to sustain outdoor, immersive entertainment environments. Special skills such as acrobatics, gymnastics, martial arts, stunt work, or stage combat are highly valued.
Emcee / Festival Host
A charismatic, quick-witted host who can command space, guide audience energy, and deliver unscripted interactions with warmth and authority. This role anchors the guest experience and requires strong improvisational instincts and confident public-facing communication.
Backgrounds in immersive entertainment, live event hosting, or cruise entertainment are especially relevant. No stage combat required.
DC Face Characters
Performers portraying iconic DC characters within a highly stylized live environment. Artists must embody the stature, confidence, and physical storytelling associated with globally recognized heroes and villains while maintaining strong guest-interaction skills. Performers will participate in live shows as well as interactive guest engagement and meet-and-greet experiences.
All ethnicities are encouraged to submit.
Height Ranges:
• Batman: 6’0”–6’2”
• Robin (also portrays Mayor of Gotham City): 5’5”–5’6”
• Superman: 6’1”–6’3”
• Wonder Woman: 5’9”–5’11”
• Batgirl: 5’7”–5’9”
• The Joker: 6’0”–6’3”
• Harley Quinn: 5’5”–5’7”
• Catwoman: 5’9”–5’11”

Experience with stage combat is strongly preferred for character roles.
Performers must be able to wear pre-fabricated character costumes built to standardized sizing and containing internal structure (including muscle padding). Proper fit is required to maintain character appearance, mobility, and safety. A costume fitting is required for employment.

PROJECT SCHEDULE
Rehearsals:
Begin mid-May 2025 at Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, CA).
California Engagement:
Early June through mid-July 2025.
Hiatus:
Brief layoff in late July.
New Jersey Engagement:
August 3 – August 30, 2025 at Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ).
Production will remount following the transfer.
Housing, round-trip airfare, and per diem are provided for the New Jersey engagement.
A detailed project calendar will be shared with selected performers.
COMPENSATION
• Rehearsals: $25.00/hour
• Performances: $30.00/hour
All roles are non-union.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
• Arrive 30–45 minutes early to get through security.
• Bring one printed headshot and résumé (stapled).
• Photo ID required for site access.
• Arrive prepared to move; wear dance or athletic attire.
• Be prepared to learn choreography and staged combat combinations taught onsite.
• Some performers may be asked to read or improvise.
• Bring appropriate footwear (no open-toe shoes) and personal knee/elbow pads, if owned.
• All performers will be required to complete a background check prior to employment and adhere to both SpectraLive x and Six Flags employment rules and regulations.
• Stage combat will be choreographed and supervised by qualified personnel.
CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be available for the full rehearsal and performance schedule, including both locations.
