Feeling All Folked Up? Submit for an upcoming cabaret featuring all folk-styled music!
Show and Rehearsal Details:
When: Saturday, January 31st at 7pm
Where: The Green Room 42
Tech: Tech Rehearsal (day of) 4:15pm-5:45pm
Theme: Folk music! Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, Tracy Chapman, Lizzy McAlpine, Bright Star the Musical, Hadestown, and more! We will have a mix of duets, solos, and likely a group number.

Rehearsal Dates: (in addition to tech rehearsal)
Tuesday, January 6th at 7pm there will be a meet and greet via zoom to get to know your cast-mates (and your producer;))
Monday, January 26th 6pm - 8pm: rehearsal with our music director
Thursday, January 29th 6pm - 8pm: rehearsal with our music director
All rehearsals will take place at a rehearsal venue in midtown.
**Please note: Performers are required to be available for ALL rehearsals, although not everyone will be called for the full duration of both rehearsals with the exception of tech rehearsal**
Submission instructions:
Please submit a brief clip of a folk style song (32 bars is more than enough!). Folk-country, folk-pop, and folk-MT are also welcome! If you don’t have a folk song, any song will do. If you play guitar or another string instrument you can feel free to accompany yourself in your self tape video. Casting decisions will be sent out no later than January 2nd.
Ticket Sale Info:
Please note that each performer is required to sell a MINIMUM of 3 tickets to the performance in order to receive the footage of their performance (this is easier to achieve than you think, we promise!). If you cannot sell three tickets, you will be asked to cover the fee of the tickets not sold.
