About the Opportunity
Premier Event Staff is seeking professional, reliable Event Staff to support a multi-day convention in Philadelphia, PA from April 7–10.

This is a W-2 position with structured scheduling, onsite leadership, and defined service standards. Team members will support guest-facing operations including registration, wayfinding, and general event assistance.


Travel from New York and surrounding areas is supported. A travel stipend is provided to assist with transportation costs (train, gas, tolls, rideshare, etc.), as well as travel time considerations.

This is a strong opportunity for individuals with hospitality, customer service, or event experience seeking consistent, multi-day work in a professional environment.

Event Schedule:

  • April 7: Training (afternoon)
  • April 8–10: Event Days
  • Preferred availability: April 8 & 9

Responsibilities:

  • Guest check-in and registration support
  • Badge scanning and credential distribution
  • Ushering and directional assistance
  • Help desk and attendee support
  • Maintain a professional, guest-focused presence
  • Follow supervisor direction and assigned stations
  • Support overall event flow and operations

Assignments may vary based on event needs.

Requirements:

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable using basic event technology (check-in systems, scanners)
  • Ability to remain standing and active for extended periods
  • Availability for assigned event dates (priority given to full availability)
  • Ability to respond promptly to scheduling and onboarding communication and remain engaged through the confirmation process

Uniform Requirements:

  • Black slacks
  • White button-down shirt
  • Black tie
  • Black non-slip shoes (leather or leather-like)

Professional attire support is available if needed (excluding footwear).

Compensation:

  • $25–$28 per hour (based on experience and role assignment)
  • W-2 employment
  • Travel stipend provided to assist with transportation and related costs
