DESCRIPTION

The Golden Gays LLC and The Golden Gays Arts & Outreach Ltd, is looking for performers for all roles, though especially for The Rose and The Blanche. Currently casting for the 2025 tours of their holiday drag musical: Hot Flashbacks, and all future projects including drag brunches, dinners, etc. As they are branded The Golden Gays™, actors who identify somewhere in the panoply of LGBTQQIAAPK+2++ are preferred. Must be good with 3 part barbershop style harmonies, choreography and be flexible and patient, as the venues and show versions can change day to day: Day 1 - Full 2 Act Musical in a giant vaudeville house for 500 people, Day 2 - Drag Brunch at a Puerto Rican restaurant for 35, etc.

Please submit a headshot, resume and a 16 - 32 bar audition video singing something comedic. Think: Ruth Wallis, Tom Lehrer, Avenue Q, Oh Mary!

The Golden Gays™ quickly emerged as the premier Golden Girls musical experience in the US, UK, Canada, Mexico and on Celebrity Cruises, with the perfect musical drag show for the whole family! They burst onto the scene in 2017- first at RuPaul’s DragCon NYC, then at the famed Rue La Rue Café, where their trivia show video went viral. What began as a flash mob has now skyrocketed to sold-out engagements all across *some* of the globe and on the high seas. They tour their original Golden Girls-inspired parody musicals in repertory throughout the year in addition to drag brunches, dinner, and drag divorce parties. You could say they travel down the road, and back again ... all while singing in three-part harmony, wearing heels, backwards up a hill both ways. Oh, and where in the world is Sophia Petrillo?
