DESCRIPTION
COMPANY MANAGER
The Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute is now accepting applications for a Company Manager to coordinate the living and working experience for the theatre's dynamic company of actors, designers, production staff, and theatre students during our nineteenth summer season. The Company Manager is an essential member of the senior leadership team, supervising four company management/student life team members. The ideal candidate should be exceptionally organized, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently, and committed to providing consistently exceptional customer service.
Additionally, the individual (with assistance of CM team, where appropriate) will serve as the on-call team with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
-Oversee, arrange and prepare all company housing and transportation, ensuring that proper and advance communication is disseminated to all parties to include but not be limited to: creative teams, guest artists, students, parents, instructors, and rental agencies.
-Oversee a team of 4 Student Life team members in the creation, assignment, and the execution of a replicable series of daily tasks that meet the departmental goals for preparedness, communication, and customer service.
- With your team, serve as day-to-day immediate contact for all communication, concerns, and the needs of our students, staff, and their families.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Company Management budgets, inputting in all expenses in a timely manner, and ensuring that all receipts are appropriately filed for reference.
- Serving as a point of communication for SSTI's human resources needs, handling matters internally, and escalating when support is needed.
-With your Student Life team, planning and executing all special events, such as welcome dinners, movie nights, and opening nights for the students.
- Manage and serve as the communication point for any SSTI relationships with outside hospitality vendors, such as chefs.
- Contributing to the daily company-wide schedules and creating weekly and daily calls as they pertain to the company's needs from your department.
- Fully participate in the full company load-in and load-out at the conclusion of summer.
- Fully participate in the organization, upkeep, and cleanliness of the Company Management-controlled areas like housing, storage, theatre kitchen, and desk area.
