KJK Productions is hiring a Choreographer for our 2026 summer theatre camp production of Footloose: 90-Minute Version.

Show: Footloose: 90-Minute Version
📅 July 6–17, 2026
🎭 Performance: July 17 @ 7 PM

⏰ Camp hours: Weekdays, 9 AM–4 PM

Responsibilities

- Choreograph all musical numbers and movement sequences
- Teach choreography to performers ages 12+
- Adapt movement for mixed skill levels
- Collaborate with the director on staging and storytelling
- Lead dance clean-up, spacing, and performance polish
- Support tech and dress rehearsals
- Assist with theatre workshops and camp programming

Compensation

$750–$1,000 per week
Paid per production • Independent contractor role

Location/Transportation

Camp is in Yorktown Heights, NY, approximately 50 minutes from Manhattan’s West Side.

🚐 Transportation may be available from the Manhattan (Midtown West, UWS or Upper Manhattan)
🏠 No housing provided

Qualifications

- Experience choreographing youth musical theatre required
- Comfortable teaching varied dance levels
- Theatre education background preferred
- NYS Fingerprint Clearance required
