NDJ Productions is casting for their second ever show, "The Ages of Angst" at The Green Room 42 on December 1st 2024.

Since the 1960's rock music has been dominating the Broadway stage in shows such as Hair, Jesus Christ Super Star, Rent, and more. This influx of Rock and Roll has influenced our culture and the music we listen to today, and for one night only The Green Room 42 will be celebrating some of Broadway's greatest rock musicals. The show which will be an unforgettable celebration of all the rock music we all know in love sends you on a deep dive from the 1960s to the early 2000's through the history of rock musicals while jamming out to an epic concert for all musical theater lovers.

Will require 4 rehearsals in November, (one of which being the day of the show) and a cast meet and greet on Zoom at the end of October.

Seeking
12 - 20 incredibly talented performers of all vocal types to perform in a musical rock concert through the decades. Must be able to quickly pick up complex harmonies.

Breakdown
Looking for strong rock vocalists to play a variety of roles in 10 minute medlys from "Hair, Jesus Christ Super Star, Rent, Spring Awakening, and American Idiot". All performers will be garunteed a variety of solos varying in sizes.

Soprano
High treble voices with incredible high rock voices. Ability to sing up to A5 in tight harmonies. Will be considered for roles such as "Jesus, Judas (JCS), Wendla (Spring Awakening), Whatshername (American Idiot), Dionne (Hair), and a variety of roles in American Idiot.

Mezzo Soprano
Rock treble voice with strong range. Will be considered for roles such as Ilse, Adult Women (Spring Awakening), Sheila (Hair), Heather (American Idiot), Mimi, Joanne (Rent), and a variety of roles in American Idiot.

Alto
Lower treble voices. Will be considered for roles such as Martha, Thea, Adult Women (Spring Awakening), Maureen (Rent), Ronny (Hair), Ex-Girl (American Idiot), and a variety of roles in American Idiot.

Tenor 1
High tenor with ability to sing up to a C5 in tight harmony. Need one tenor who can sing G5 (Falsetto). Will be considered for roles such as "Jesus, Judas (JCS), Angel (Rent), Ernst, Otto (Spring Awakening), Berger (Hair) and a variety of roles in American Idiot.

Tenor 2
Tenor with an ability to sing up to an A4 in tight harmony. May need Bb4 (mixed/falsetto). Will be considered for roles such as "Mark, Rodger (Rent), Moritz, Georg (Spring Awakening), Claude (Hair), and a variety of roles in American Idiot.

Baritone/Bass
Lower voice with an ability to sing up to a G4 in tight harmony. Will be considered for roles such as "Mark, Collins, Benny (Rent), Melchior, Hanschen, Adult Men (Spring Awakening), Claude (Hair), and a variety of roles in American Idiot.
