CAMP MANAGER DUTIES

• Contractor agrees to serve as Camp Manager for Vanguard’s productions of Madagascar and, in that capacity, to:

-Attend pre-production and training meetings with the Production Team in person or via conference call.

• -Supply the production team pertinent information from the Camper Information Forms.

• -Ensure that all staff members fulfill their duties.

• -Provide advice and guidance to staff in all matters related to campers.

• -Disseminate day-to-day camp and performance schedule information to parents and guardians from the production team via email and text.

• -Be available to parents and guardians via email and text, responding to questions and concerns within a 24 hour period.

• -Work with and assist the Stage Manager to maintain comprehensive daily reports, inclusive of camper and staff issues and/or incident reports

• -Uphold Vanguard’s philosophy of behavior management and protocol and procedures

• -Uphold safety and security procedures

• -Adhere to all rules, regulations, and policies set in the handbook.

• -Perform other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary by Vanguard for the performance of the Services.

- Contractor shall be prompt at all calls and shall be ready to work at the rehearsal space or theater no later than Contractor's designated call.

- Contractor shall perform Contractor's services as directed and sustained by Vanguard.

-Contractor shall not appear at rehearsals or performances under the influence of alcohol or any controlled substance.

-Contractor will participate in shifts and other backstage activities as assigned by the

director and/or stage manager.

- Contractor agrees not to bring any guests to rehearsals or backstage at the theater at any time without the express consent of company and house management.

SALARY

$2,500.00 – $3,000.00 per hour
