DESCRIPTION

The Head Carpenter reports to the Producers and the General Manager, working closely with the Company Manager and Stage Manager while on the road. This position is responsible for advancing with venues, facilitating/managing all load-ins and load-outs, ensuring the performances run safely, supervising the touring crew, and managing the local crew in each city/venue.

TIMELINE:

Ideal Start Date would be around Monday, March 2 but there is some flexibility.

National Tour: March 2 – June 28, 2026.

The tour will play a mixture of one-week, split-week and one-night performances, with one layoff week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BLP seeks strong team players who can work well under pressure.

Previous touring experience, while not mandatory, is preferred.

A valid US driver's license is required

The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull 100lbs, stand for extended periods of time (3+ hours), and navigate multiple levels of stairs.

COMPENSATION:
These positions will be contracted under an IATSE “S” Touring Agreement.

HC Salary starts @ $1,200/week, increasing with experience.

AC/Flyman starts @$900/week, increasing with experience.

Hotels and per diem are provided on the road

IATSE Weekly welfare & pension included
