Berkshires, is seeking an Assistant Lighting & Projections Supervisor to join our team in Pittsfield, MA.

JOB OVERVIEW
The Assistant Lighting & Projections Supervisor aids in managing the electrics department and serves as
the primary programmer for Cabaret events. This role focuses on departmental paperwork, labor
coordination, and technical support for rehearsal spaces.
REQUIREMENTS
● Help coordinate the hang, focus, and strike of all equipment; supervise staff electricians and
overhire crews as delegated.
● Serve as the primary programmer and engineer for all BSC Cabaret events throughout the
season.
● Maintain up-to-date departmental paperwork, including plots, inventories, and cue sheets.
● Assist the Supervisor in tracking expenses and creating load-in/changeover schedules.
● Attend rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and production meetings as needed, responding
promptly to all artistic and technical notes.
● Execute note calls during tech/load-in and serve as the lead programmer for Cabarets.

● Train follow-spot operators and run crew on lighting systems and onstage practicals.
● Ensure the electrics shop and storage areas are clean, organized, and functional.
● Other duties as assigned by Production Management
QUALIFICATIONS
● Strong communication and organizational skills.
● Proficient in ETC Eos family consoles and system troubleshooting.
● Knowledge of theatrical rigging, power systems, and soldering.
● Experience with HD Video systems and associated components
● Experience with DMX equipment, atmospherics, moving lights, LED fixtures, and
troubleshooting/system diagnosis
● Experience with Vectorworks, Lightwright, and all standard theatrical lighting paperwork
● Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat
● Must be comfortable working with students and volunteers.
● Ability to lift 50 lbs and work comfortably at heights.
