DESCRIPTION

The Broadway producers of DEATH BECOMES HER are seeking an Assistant or Associate Company Manager (“ACM”) to support the ongoing operations of the production, reporting directly to the Company Manager. This is a union position under the jurisdiction of the IATSE ATPAM Collective Bargaining Agreement (“CBA”) and individuals currently in the NMAM (Non-Member Apprentice Manager) program and ATPAM members are encouraged to apply. Some of the job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Liaise between the production, theater staff, and union representatives

Assist the Company Manager in daily operations and support the overall management of the entire show personnel (60+ actor/crew).

Oversee cast logistics: travel arrangements, housing, per diem
- Audit petty cash receipts, invoices, and corporate credit cards
- Support in budgeting, cost monitoring, and reporting
- Assist with and submit payroll, union benefit reports and theatre settlements
- Oversee house seat systems
- Cover 2-4 performances each week, including weekends and holidays
- Support planning and executing special events (anniversaries, company parties, etc.) and press events, as required
- Assist the Company Manager and General Managers with daily tasks and projects, as assigned
- Ad-hoc troubleshooting
- Other management tasks as required

DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience as Assistant/Associate Company Manager (Broadway/National Tour) or equivalent in theater production managementv
- Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of the Broadway Collective Bargaining Agreements (AEA, IATSE, etc.)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks & Excel
- Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
- Proven success in executing sound judgment and handling confidential materials
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks appropriately
- Efficient work ethic and time management skills
- Ability to anticipate and solve operational issues and problem-solve in real time
- Memory for names and faces
- Skillful interpersonal communicator
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours
- Possess a friendly, empathetic, and collaborative spirit with a passion for fun
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

DATES, COMPENSATION, AND HOW TO APPLY:

CONTRACT START DATES: January 2026 [Interviews on a rolling basis]

COMPENSATION: The starting scale rate for this position at the Assistant (NMAM) level in New York City, NY is $1,371.63.68/week. The starting scale rate for this position at the Associate level in New York City, NY is $2,075.70/week.
